Becoming parents was the happiest moment of our lives. But our happiness was short-lived. After 19 days of birth, our baby boy was diagnosed with Coarctation of Aorta, a severe heart condition that made every heartbeat a struggle. The only way to save him was through urgent Balloon Dilatation, followed by a major corrective surgery.
We were shattered —not only by the fear of losing our child but also by the huge financial burden of his treatment. Every second counted, and we felt helpless.
As a light at the end of the tunnel, ExtraMile Foundation gave us hope. Their financial support allowed us to move forward with the critical two-stage surgery at Rainbow Children’s Heart Institute without the worry of expenses. It meant we could focus entirely on our baby—holding his tiny hand, whispering words of love, and praying for his recovery.
The journey was tough. Our baby spent days in intensive care, fighting to breathe on his own. But with every passing day, he grew stronger. And with every tiny milestone, our hope grew too.
Today, as we watch him smile and grow, our hearts are filled with gratitude. ExtraMile Foundation didn’t just help us financially—they gave us hope when we had none. They gave our baby the chance to live, and for that, we will forever be thankful.
